The real enemy of America is not the Tea Party, its Progressive/Liberal policies

Don’t fall for the misinformation being put out by Progressives with the help on the state-run media that paints the Tea Party as the enemy.

It’s a big lie repeated over and over again by the very people that are responsible for spending and taxing this country into near oblivion. In fact the amount of vitriol coming from The Left is proof that Tea Party is on the right track in returning the United States into a sound fiscally responsible status.

Progressive, who even lie about what they call themselves, i.e. Liberals, only care about taxing everything that moves, and spending the money on programs that create more government dependency. They don’t believe in freedom of the individual because they think people are stupid and need to be led by the nose by Harvard and Yale trained elites.
A Progressive’s worst nightmare is a highly educated and motivated populace with the drive to achieve great things WITHOUT the help of mother government.

That’s why they’ve made it their business to control every public school system in the nation to ensure that our most precious resource, our children are hopeless locked in failing schools. Keep the kids ignorant so they become more dependent on the state. Graduation rates for African Americans and Latinos are failing just the way Progressives want them to.

What does the Tea Party want?

They want America to strive, not just exist. They want greater freedom for all to create businesses, with the help of lower taxes, less government regulation that is hamstring the economy. The Tea Party want to increase opportunity, not stifle it.

That’s why Progressives must paint the Tea Party as monsters, or even Terrorists because they see them as their biggest threat to crushing once and for all the Nanny State Progressives love so much.

Two AutoZone employees jeered by Bronx residents for catching criminals

As New Yorker I feel totally disgusted and ashamed of Bronx citizens that had the audacity to side with a couple of low crooks that were chased and stopped by two AutoZone workers for shoplifting merchandize.

Who are these people that would brazenly side with prerps instead of two guys trying to do the right thing? These jeering people must have been criminally minded menaces themselves that serve no purpose other than to suck off the tit of those in society who are productive.

It’s a very disturbing thing indeed that reflects poorly on the Bronx and the city of New York.

Bronx auto-store clerk Nelson Lozanda made the call of duty yesterday, chasing and tackling a suspected shoplifter, then holding him down with one hand while phoning cops with the other. "There are a lot of thieves coming in here. They are thinking just because it's not our store, we are not going to respond to it," said Lozada, 23, one of two workers who grabbed the alleged perp about a block from an AutoZone store on East 149th Street.

The drama started in the store at about noon when a man set off alarms because he had allegedly stashed an electric drill and an Allen wrench set, worth a total of about $80, in his bag.

"As we were trying to stop him, he ran into the lot," said Lozada, noting that the store is hit by up to four shoplifting attempts a day.

The man then pulled out a filthy syringe, he said.
"He said, 'I'll give you AIDS with this syringe!' Then he ran," Lozada said.

But Lozada, who was hired six months ago, and assistant manager Oscar Castelan, 19, chased him.

The pair tackled the man about a block away. Lozada held the suspect in a chokehold with his right arm and dialed 911 with his left hand.

But the alleged thief still had some fight in him. He wriggled free, swung at Castelan and put the assistant manager in a full nelson.

Meanwhile, a crowd gathered -- with some onlookers threatening the AutoZone staffers for daring to stop the suspected thief.

Lozada said he and his co-worker tried to ignore the onlookers' contemptuous cries of "It's not your store! Why do you care?"

"We're trying to do the right thing, and they're sticking up for the bad guy. It's disappointing," Lozada said.
As the crowd grew more hostile, Lozada and Castelan grew weary -- and the perp fled, leaving behind the stolen goods.

"We basically just grabbed the stuff and went back to the store," Lozada said.

Cops arrived about 10 minutes too late. They said they were searching for the suspect.
But shortly after the mayhem, The Post found the suspect shuffling along East 138th Street.

"They didn't have any right to do that to me," the man said, pointing to a black left eye and bloody scab on the back of his head. "I'm homeless. I'm not going to steal from other homeless people.

"Better to steal from the store."

PAC puts up Rick Perry campaign ad for president

I think if Perry were to get into this thing, it changes the game in a big way.

He becomes an immediate front-runner that adds another important voice to the debate. It would make the rest of the field step up their game.

And that’s a good thing.

A new super-PAC supporting Texas Governor Rick Perry’s hopeful presidential bid is releasing a statewide ad campaign in Iowa hailing Perry as the “better option” for president. The group Jobs for Iowa reportedly told Politico that it has spent just under $40,000 for two week’s of air time on Fox News Channel in the state.

According to reports, the group is speculated to have the financial backing of affluent Texas Republicans who might like to expand their pro-Perry ad campaign to other states moving forward.

Protestors stripped nude naked on Wall Street to protest naked corporate greed

I think we should have a lot of these types of protests. Maybe there should be naked protest over high New York taxes? Bring in Pamela Anderson for that one.

Wall Street hasn't seen cojones this big since Gordon Gekko.

A horde of 50 "actors" -- mostly disguised as dapper day traders -- suddenly stripped off their clothes and frolicked around Wall Street early yesterday morning in a bizarre protest of corporate greed.

Three of the bare-bottomed bozos -- initially dressed as a CEO, dog walker and janitor -- were collared by cops.

Christine Coleman, 22, of Queens, Eric Anderson, 31, and Aaron Mattocks, of Brooklyn, were charged with disorderly conduct and exposure for showing off their dangling commodities
Each was released with a desk summons.

But their cohorts got away scot-free in the stunt, which had been six months in the making.

The 50 actors doffed their duds at about 7 a.m. as part of a performance piece by artist Zefrey Throwell titled "Ocularpation: Wall Street."

They had descended on the Financial District playing the roles of street sweepers and secretaries. Within four minutes of baring it all, everyone dressed and disappeared into the bustling crowd.
"I saw a lady standing in front of a building and she was buck naked!" said Gamal Abouelkhair, 54, a coffee-cart owner.

The Alaskan-born Throwell, a recent transplant to New York, planned the stunt as a way to knock the buttoned-up Wall Street culture down a notch.

A snake terrified a young mother when it suddenly appeared on her SUV's windscreen after slithering out of the engine as she drove along an expressway into Memphis, Tennessee.

Rachel Fisher said she's not usually scared by snakes but she 'was clenching everything' as she drove at 65mph with the unusual hitchhiker on board - and her three young children in the back.

I find the premises of this report a little ironic. It states the GOP used the threat of default to wrangle more concessions from Democrats. Well, didn’t President Obama do the same thing when he warned the country would go into Depression if we didn’t pass his stimulus bill?

By all accounts, it looks like a deal is about to be announced in which the debt ceiling is hiked in exchange for the promise of major spending cuts, including to entitlements, totalling at least $2.4 trillion.

Anything can happen, but it apppears the GOP is on the verge of pulling off a political victory that may be unprecedented in American history. Republicans may succeed in using the threat of a potential outcome that they themselves acknowledged would lead to national catastrophe as leverage to extract enormous concessions from Democrats, without giving up anything of any significance in return.

Not only that, but Republicans — in perhaps the most remarkable example of political up-is-downism in recent memory — cast their willingness to dangle the threat of national crisis as a brave and heroic effort they’d undertaken on behalf of the national interest. Only the threat of national crisis could force the immediate spending cuts supposedly necessary to prevent a far more epic crisis later.

Under the emerging deal, President Obama can hike the debt limit in two stages — the first in exchange for equivalent cuts; the second after a Congressional committee comes up with second round of yet more cuts, including to entitlements. The talks appear close to resolving the spending cut“trigger” that would force the committee to act — without giving the GOP an incentive to deliberately sabotage its work. The remaining question is how to get it through the House. But a deal seems immiment.

Again and again, Dems drew lines in the sand that they promptly erased as the threat of default grew.

A clean debt ceiling hike? Dropped. Cuts to Medicare benefits? They’ll likely be in that committee’s crosshairs. The insistence on revenue hikes? Withdrawn.

What make this all the more remarkable is that throughout this process, Republicans themselves conceded not just that a debt ceiling hike would be disastrous for America, but also that it was inevitable. Yet they were still able use the threat of default as leverage. How?

Heroic 13-year-old from Brooklyn Kirra Goddard killed by SUV while saving others

The good book says there’s no greater love than giving up your life for your fellow man. In Brooklyn New York, a 13 year old girl did just that.

The family of the brave little Brooklyn girl who was fatally struck by an out-of-control SUV after miraculously herding six other kids out of its path remembered her today as a selfless hero who was always helping others.

"She was a hero," said a distraught Tanisha Harewood, 14, about her younger sister Kirra Goddard, 13. "She always looked out after us. If something ever happened to one of us she always came to help us. She cared about everyone in this building."
Tanisha said the sharp-eyed Kirra spotted the SUV driving wildly toward the stoop where she was sitting with the other children, including her younger sister.
"The car was driving down the block and it hit that car up there, and then he backed up. She saw it and told everyone to run. She said ‘Run, run, run!’ "

The other kids ran inside, but Kirra was sitting down and could not get up quick enough as the SUV bore down on her in reverse.

"She had her hand up and was saying: ‘Stop, stop, stop!’ Harewood said.

Kirra’s heartbroken dad, Wesley Bishop, said his selfless daughter didn’t have time to get away.
"When she stood up it was too late. She’s definitely a hero, she told all those kids to get inside," he said, describing Kirra as "loving and nice, very kind to people."
